For the last two years the agronomists and engineers of Poletehnika company and Agrofirm "Bat'kivshchina" together with the engineering and development bureau of German factory HORSCH have been developing the new high-efficient pneumatic grain planter PRONTO 12 NT. All the wishes and comments of the Ukrainian agronomists have been realised in the new planter design: the peculiarities of soil and climate conditions in the south-east of Ukraine have been considered, the advantages of the American analogues have been taken into account, the disadvantages of all existing grain planters have been removed.

Nowadays there is a clear tendency to use alternative technologies and to update autopark with imported farm machinery. As any 1500-hectare farm has already had imported tractor or is going to buy it, Great Plains 3S4000 seeders seem to be the best option. The seeder requires tractor power of only 250 h.p. to provide seeding with the best efficiency. The seeder is suitable for the excellent tillage as it is equipped with HEAVY DUTY coulter that allows working at minimum and zero technology.
